HAIO · Human + AI Orchestration
HumanOS - the orchestration engine underneath everything HUMΛN
HumanOS delivers predictable, auditable AI-driven outcomes by orchestrating models, agents, data flows, and policy checks (qualified: governance applied at runtime).
What this is
HumanOS delivers predictable, auditable AI-driven outcomes by orchestrating models, agents, data flows, and policy checks (qualified: governance applied at runtime).
When the person you serve triggers an action, HumanOS verifies identity and delegation, then routes intent to the capability best suited to act, whether that is a human operator, an automated agent, or a chain of models; policy checks run before, during, and after each handoff and every decision is recorded.
HumanOS routes intent to humans or agents based on identity, delegation, and capability rules to keep results within approved boundaries (qualified: role-based delegation and conditional policies).
Governance-first orchestration
HumanOS is a governance-first orchestration engine that runs decision workflows, enforces rules, records intent and actions, and recovers from errors without continuous manual oversight (for example, automatic retry with exponential backoff, compensating transactions, or escalation to a human operator). It treats governance as runtime behavior, not an afterthought.
HumanOS enforces policy checks before, during, and after steps and records intent and actions in a step-level audit log (qualified: designed for traceability and recovery).
Ledger
Ledger: an immutable audit ledger that records decisions and provenance.
Core capabilities you should expect
- Intent routing that matches requests to capabilities and human approvals.
- Policy enforcement that blocks disallowed actions and inserts guardrails when needed.
- Step-level audit logs that record intent, the decision path, the inputs used, and corrective actions taken.
Failure handling and recoverability
HumanOS reduces the need for continuous manual oversight by making failures observable and recoverable. Failed steps can be replayed, compensated, or escalated with the same audit trail as successful runs.
Starter workflow (concrete example)
- Inputs: customer ID, refund amount, and reason.
- Policy checks: identity verification, delegation (who may approve this amount), and fraud signals.
- Routing: refunds under $100 route to an automated agent for automatic approval; refunds over $100 route to a human operator for approval.
- What gets recorded: raw inputs, model outputs, policy decisions, approval timestamps, and any compensating actions.
- Success metric to track: target 95% of eligible refunds processed automatically within 30 minutes while maintaining 100% audit traceability.
Start small
If you want to start small, run one workflow that matters and capture its audit trail. Expand as trust and guardrails prove out.
Routing flow
Routing flow: identity and delegation check -> capability-based routing to human operator or automated agent -> provenance logged to the ledger
